SANDSTONE

Tamaryn is what I like to think of as the shoegaze version of Liz Harris, everyones’ favorite drone queen. Dreamy melodies, moments of psychedelia, and a beautiful arrangement of swirling guitars render into a giant tidal wave leading to heavenly bliss. Tamaryns initial release was a 7” with True Panther, back in 2009, that included the very well-done bass prominent track Mild Confusion, Joy Division influence noted. Her new track, Sandstone, is off of an upcoming Mexican Summer LP called The Waves, an LP surely to remind you of every possible dream-pop/shoegaze/80s Punk band you’ve loved and adored as an angsty teenager.
